Hope isn’t just the middle name of Dr. Keneen Hope McNiven, D.C., or the title of her business; it’s her life lesson and professional mission. After the sudden loss of her husband in November 2006, Dr. Keneen suffered from adrenal exhaustion, chronic fatigue, emotional stress and PTSD launching her into a profound journey of healing and transformation. She dedicated herself to the heart-opening principles of Anusara yoga, and trauma recovery, which helped her move from the ravages of heartbreak and grief to the freedom of being “heart-broken-open.”
Hope Yoga and Healing for Injury and PTSD
Dr. Keneen Hope also understands firsthand the challenges of recovering not only from trauma but also from physical injury. After a car accident tore cartilage in her left hip, doctors suggested she not participate in dance or yoga until the damage was surgically repaired. But Dr Keneen Hope embarked on a holistic approach using advanced chiropractic, therapeutic yoga and Neuro-emotional-trauma release techniques. Thriving once again, Dr Keneen Hope not only embodies true hope and recovery but also offers the same healing techniques to her clients at Durango’s Hope Chiropractic & Yoga facilitating pain relief, personal growth and transformation.

“Finding Dr Keneen through a woman’s workshop has been a blessing. I have felt trapped in my life and body. I carried childhood wounds and injuries in my body and had a lot of back pain and moodiness. With her gentle and powerful approach along with her unique yoga exercises I am happier, healthier and hopeful again.” – Lana S.
